Martin Mentzoni's practice is characterised by his boundless approach to the creative act. From bloody performances to large-scale paintings and drawings, Mentzoni is intimately connected to his creations. Self-taught, the artist spent decades in the underground music and skateboarding scene, where he performed extensively in Europe and the United States.

Mentzoni is best known for his impressionistic and colourful works, drawing inspiration from the artist's personal experiences and strong emotions spanning love, rage, sex and depression. He continually produces documentary videos offering an uncensored look at his life and art, more than 700 and still going, which are published on his YouTube ↗ channel.
